    • Mobile Route Editor: A native Windows 8.1 application that enables the user to plan mission routes on a tablet form factor while leveraging the same data and functionality as their desktop mission planning environment
  • Researched and evaluated various cross-platform mobile development strategies and technologies, such as Xamarin
  • Presented and demoed these mobile applications to various end users and government sponsors to garner more interest in the mobile effort and to further develop requirements for current and future development efforts

  • Developed several MapReduce jobs as a member of the Internet Profile Service (IPS) team, which gathers and analyzes DNS traffic data and web content from millions of domain names using Hadoop and big data analytics
  • Worked on the redesign and development of daily DNS traffic processing and reporting processes using Hadoop, which reduced the average processing time by about 50% and enabled a daily customer report to be sent out six hours earlier
  • Actively engaged in weekly production support rotations by troubleshooting and resolving any issues on the production hosts, tracking them in JIRA, and presenting them to the team at the end of the rotation
  • Automated installation process for development, QA, and operations teams by packaging components as RPMs, managing a custom configuration file management solution, and writing shell and Ant build scripts for package deployment
